2018 Spring Newsletter and Survey

The Spring 2018 Newsletter has been posted to the site.  Highlights of this issue include information for post-retirement work in the public sector, survivor benefit options for active members, and a social security update. In our retiree spotlight, we feature retired Chelmsford Police Lt. Gail Beaudoin.

Please take a moment to complete a brief survey about our newsletter.  All participants will be entered into a drawing to win a pair of Boston Red Sox tickets donated by one of our members.  For a chance to see the Boston Red Sox take on the Miami Marlins on August 28th, please click here and complete the survey.  All entries received by Tuesday, August 7th will be entered into the drawing.

Regional Training Program Announced

The Middlesex County Retirement Board is pleased to announce it is hosting a regional training program, Understanding Your Public Pension and Social Security, at the Buck Auditorium in Billerica Town Hall on Wednesday, May 16, 2018 from 4:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m..  This is the second of six regional training programs that are planned this year.  This free, two-hour regional meeting will provide MCRS members employed in the towns of Billerica, North Reading, Tewksbury and Wilmington with important information regarding your public employee retirement benefits and the basics of Social Security.  We hope you can join us at this program or one of our future programs.
