2020 Spring Newsletter

The Spring 2020 Newsletter has been posted to the website.  Highlights of this issue include: the essential role retirement systems play during the pandemic, a retirement checklist, social security update, and important information on survivor benefits.  The Board unanimously voted to grant retirees the maximum COLA allowed by law, with the increase to take effect July 1st.  For our retiree spotlight we profile Anne Butters who, at the “young” age of 102, is the oldest retiree in our System.  

COVID-19 Update – Effective May 19, 2020 – Office Closed

Our priority continues to be public safety and the health of our community and staff.  For that reason, the retirement office will remain closed to the general public until further notice.  During the office closure, staff members are available to assist you and to provide telephone retirement counseling.  Please email us at mrs@middlesexretirement.org or call 978-439-3000.  Thank you for your understanding.
